today, i suppose, can be considered the true beginning.
today i put paint to canvas.
it didn't go all that well.
but i'm not at all discouraged.
if i spend a month at this something surely has to come out of it.
i never monetioned that this was Evangeline. The historical oak. I had actually never seen it before and so went on a fieldtrip. The groundspeople checke don me all afternoon as I painted. Just a warm-up.
